From 12 August 2020, the following substances required a licence and permit, issued by the Office of Drug Control, in accordance with Regulation 5 of the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations 1956.

  • Alpha-pyrrolidinohexaneophenone (otherwise known as alpha-PHP)
  • 5F-AMB-PINACA (otherwise known as 5F-AMB or 5F-MMB-PINACA)
  • Chloroephedrine
  • Chloropseudoephedrine
  • Clonazolam
  • 4-CMC (otherwise known as 4-chloromethcathinone or clephedrone)
  • Crotonylfentanyl
  • Deschloroetizolam
  • Diclazepam
  • N-ethylhexedrone
  • Etizolam
  • Flualprazolam
  • Flubromazepam
  • Flubromazolam
  • 4-F-MDMB-BINACA
  • 5F-MDMB-PICA (otherwise known as 5F-MDMB-2201)
  • Meclonazepam
  • Methyl alpha-phenylacetoacetate (otherwise known as MAPA)
  • Methyl 3-(3’,4’-methylenedioxyphenyl)-2-methyl glycidate (otherwise known as MMDMG)
  • 3-(3’,4’-Methylenedioxyphenyl)-2-methyl glycidic acid, sodium salt (otherwise known as NaMDMG)
  • Methyl 3-phenyl-2-methyl glycidate
  • Nifoxipam
  • 3-Phenyl-2-methyl glycidic acid, sodium salt
