Precursor substances

Pre-export notification and export and import permits and licences are required from the Office of Drug Control (ODC).

Precursor chemicals and substances are controlled because they can be used to manufacture illicit drugs. If you import or export precursor substances, you may need a licence, permit or pre-export notification (PEN) from the Office of Drug Control (ODC).
