As part of our commitment to delivering more transparent, evidence and risk-based regulation, the department has established the Health Business Services Portal. This portal will make it easier and more convenient for you to do business with us.
Portal now live
You can log in to the Health Business Services Portal to create and manage an account for your organisation, and submit licence applications directly to the Office of Drug Control (ODC). .
We will be progressively adding more forms and enhanced functionality. This will enable you to complete a range of tasks more quickly and conveniently online.
Upcoming changes to the portal
We are continuing to modernise ODC systems. We are making minor enhancements to the Health Business Services Portal from May 2026 to deliver a more modern, intuitive interface.
These changes are aligned with our enterprise approach to providing a single, digital front door for the health industry.
Enhancements include:
- better navigation
- improved layouts
- more detail upfront to support completing forms.
As part of the enhancements for May 2026, we are also working towards including additional forms to the portal and will share updates on this page as these changes occur.

Set up myID for access
New Australian users will need to set up myID to access the Health Business Services portal. It is an easy and secure way to prove who you are online that many government agencies and services use. It provides greater security for you and helps us ensure we are interacting with an authorised person via the portal.
