Apply for a pre-export notification (PEN) for a precursor substance

Use this form to apply for a pre-export notification (PEN) for eligible precursor substances being exported from Australia to support compliance with regulatory and international obligations.

A pre-export notification (PEN) is required for certain precursor substance exports from Australia.

It allows the Australian Government to notify the importing country's competent authority before export, helping verify legitimate trade and supporting Australia's international obligations.
