The Kava Pilot Program was monitored and evaluated to assess its impact and inform future policy and regulatory decisions.
The evaluation was conducted by the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) and Ninti One (Ninti), in collaboration with partner organisations and under the oversight of a Project Advisory Group.
The monitoring and evaluation program was undertaken between April 2021 and August 2023 and examined the outcomes of the Kava Pilot Program through research, data collection and stakeholder engagement activities.
The final report presents the findings of the evaluation and provides insights into the implementation and impact of the pilot program.
